Aqua Blue Update. 24th May 2010
With the season well under way and the sea temperature actually now in double figures its good to see so many of you out diving 
Cornwall Weekend 7/8th August 2010.
We have, due to a poor response, cancelled the hard boat. Shame as we have been going down to Porthkerris for over 15 years. BUT on the plus side we are still going to go down for that weekend and we will be using the RIB instead. If you are interested in this option please e-mail or call me on the mobile 07771906101. Hopefully we will have a good turn out come that weekend.
Club Dives.
The Thursday evening club dives are going well, with the boat bookings filling quickly, so get your name down early to save any disappointments!
This week we plan on running the RIB on Friday evening leaving West Bay at 6.30pm. The Planned dive site is High Ground, depth 6 meters to 12 meters. This is a nice gentle dive ideal for all levels of divers.
This coming Bank Holiday Monday, 31st May, the RIB plans to run a shuttle service doing at least 2 dives, possibly 3, leaving from West Bay.
First dive leaving at 9am to dive Saw Tooth Ledges, approx max depth 25 meters. Drift
Second dive leaving at 11.30am to dive either The Ram, approx 11 to 14 meters, or High Ground approx 6 to 12 meters. Drift/Wall dive.

Try Dives.
All Try Dives, Seal Team Courses, Refreshers, etc. will be conducted at Beaminster pool. Please contact us for further details. e-mail or call on 07771906101. The pool is now open so if you have any friends, family or colleagues who would like to do a Try Dive please let us know.

All sensible offers on the following will be considered.
1 x NEW Oceanic Aerdura Dry Suit. Size ML, Boot size approx 7, Auto dump and Hose.
2 x 12 litre cylinders. Went out of test over the winter. As new.
2 x 10 litre cylinders. Went out of test over the winter. As new.
We guarantee that all the above cylinders will pass test.
If any of you require purchasing any dive equipment feel free to contact us as we can still supply most equipment.
Open Water Course.
For the fifth year running we are keeping the cost the same at £350.00. We can also adjust the payment terms and spread them over the duration of the course, after paying a deposit on the required materials. Advanced Open Water Course.
We are still offering this course on a pay as you dive basis. Using Huntress II on a Thursday evening and the RIB at weekends and midweek. Phone/text 07771906101 or e-mail.

Aqua Blue Update. 08th March, 2010
Welcome to the first Update of 2010. Hope you have all survived the winter unscathed by the ice and snow. Many thanks to all of you who sent me 50th birthday wishes last month, especially the old git ones!!!!!
With the new season almost upon us, it's time to check all your dive kit is in good condition and check cylinders etc are in test. Any servicing required let us know and we can sort out collection.
We are having to move our compressor at rather short notice. If any of you know of a location with 3-phase electric that we could use PLEASE let us know as soon as possible. Phone 07771906101
Cornwall Weekend 7/8th June 2010.
Once again we have provisionally booked this weekend with Porthkerris Divers. The cost is £60.00 per day for the big hard boat plus food and as much shore diving as you wish. This is a great weekend socially and the diving is very easy and very scenic. Some of us plan to stay over an extra day and dive from the Rib. Thursday Evening Club Dives.
We will resume running the Thursday evening dives on Huntress II, starting on the 18th March. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis with a ropes off time from West Bay @ 6.30pm. Torches and strobes on SMBs required. So phone/text to 07771906101 or e-mail back.
From Easter onwards we will have the use of a RIB running out of West Bay. Anyone interested in diving over the Easter Bank Holiday please contact us and we will see what response we get. Typical dives so early in the year will probably inclued the wreck of the Bagitano, High Ground, Sawtooth Ledges and the Tennants Reefs.

Pool Session/Try Dives 12/13th September

St. Dunstan Dive. Thursday 30th July
Hi All,
This Thursday evenings club dive will be on the wreck of the St Dunstan, depth approximately 30 meters. Usual leave time of 7 pm, aboard Huntress II, weather permitting.

The West Bay raft race is on this Thursday evening so give yourselves plenty of time to find a parking space!

Aqua Blue Update. 16th June 2009
Cornwall Weekend 15/16th August 2009.
Due to five people dropping out from this trip with deposits unpaid, we now have spaces that urgently need filling. If we can not fill these spaces soon (by the end of this week), we will have to advise Porthkerris as they have groups who desperately want that weekend. Lots of you have been asking when our Master Chef Winner, Mat Follas, is opening his new restaurant in Beaminster. We can now tell you that the Wild Garlic will be opening its doors to the public from the 23rd June for lunches and from the 25th June for evening meals. Due to the popularity of these evening dives Club members get first priority. If spaces are still available on Monday evenings then non club members who have put there names on the reserve list will be added, on a first come first served basis.
We have been approached by a local dive RIB operator who will run dive trips out of West Bay on a Friday evening and also at weekends. They will run with a minimum of 4 divers, which is great news. We are just waiting to hear back on prices. If you would be interested in this service please let us know ASAP please.

It was great to see Howard two weekends ago. He has moved to Cornwall but came back up to do two very good dives out of Lyme Regis with us. Thanks Paul for taking us out. I struggled with the 15 dozen scallops mind you!
