Welcome to the first Update of 2010. Hope you have all survived the winter unscathed by the ice and snow. Many thanks to all of you who sent me 50th birthday wishes last month, especially the old git ones!!!!!

With the new season almost upon us, it's time to check all your dive kit is in good condition and check cylinders etc are in test. Any servicing required let us know and we can sort out collection.

We are having to move our compressor at rather short notice. If any of you know of a location with 3-phase electric that we could use PLEASE let us know as soon as possible. Phone 07771906101

Cornwall Weekend 7/8th June 2010.

Once again we have provisionally booked this weekend with Porthkerris Divers. The cost is £60.00 per day for the big hard boat plus food and as much shore diving as you wish. This is a great weekend socially and the diving is very easy and very scenic. Some of us plan to stay over an extra day and dive from the Rib. Thursday Evening Club Dives.

We will resume running the Thursday evening dives on Huntress II, starting on the 18th March. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis with a ropes off time from West Bay @ 6.30pm. Torches and strobes on SMBs required. So phone/text to 07771906101 or e-mail back.

From Easter onwards we will have the use of a RIB running out of West Bay. Anyone interested in diving over the Easter Bank Holiday please contact us and we will see what response we get. Typical dives so early in the year will probably inclued the wreck of the Bagitano, High Ground, Sawtooth Ledges and the Tennants Reefs.

If you have any requests on other locations to dive, please let us know and we will see what can be arranged.

If any of you require purchasing any dive equipment feel free to contact us as we can still supply most equipment.

All Try Dives, Seal Team Courses, Refreshers, etc. will be conducted at Beaminster pool. Please contact us for further details. E-mail or call on 07771906101. The pool will be opening later this year, probably around the 19th April. So if you have any friends, family or colleagues who would like to do a Try Dive let us know.

Open Water Course.

For the fifth year running we are keeping the cost the same at £350.00. We can also adjust the payment terms and spread them over the duration of the course, after paying a deposit on the required materials.
