Aqua Blue Update. 18th July

Another very great weeks diving. With the trip down to Porthkerris in Cornwall, and the all day hard boat dives out of West Bay on Thursday.
We will leave Paul Kidson to do the trip report on the Thursday all day dives, as he was buzzing so much. Cheers Paul. Check out trip reports on the web site forums
Cornwall weekend turned out to be a great success. The weather gurus got it wrong, and we were blessed with flat calm seas and glorious sunshine, especially on Sunday, no rain. All the dives were around the Lizard area, as local knowledge deemed the visibility would be better. Three great wreck dives plus a drift dive were done. Although late getting back in on Saturday evening the BBQ was a huge success and great fun had by all. The fish, line caught between dives by Eric, went down very well. Thank you to Cheryl and Eric for preparing and cooking most of the food. Divers were out numbered by non divers for a change. Which goes to show that these trips are equally open to all family and friends. Great to see the children having such a nice time, and well behaved. We would like to thank Mike and all his staff for a great weekend.
Congratulations to Paul Clayton in completing his Advanced Open Water Course whilst in Cornwall at the weekend. Also congratulations to Fiona Reekes in completing her Dive Master course in Dahab, Red Sea.
This Sunday, 20th July, we will be at Beaminster swimming pool doing Try Dives and Refreshers from 2.30pm and the kids Seal Team from 4pm. If you wish to come along and try out kit, brush up on skills or know anybody that would like to do a Try Dive then please let us know. Phone No 01308-422105.
It looks like we probably have another space available on the Philippines trip, 25th October - November 8th 2008. We will be closing this trip down on the 31st July, so if you wish to go please contact us ASAP please. A reminder to all going on this fantastic value for money trip that we require the final payment BY the 1st August 2008.
We still have a lot of dive kit which has been left for service that is still awaiting collection. Please collect before Auntie Wainwright sells it.
West Bay Diving Thursday Evening Club dive aboard Huntress 2 running as usual this week. Departure time 7pm.
Friday Evening Club dive 25th July aboard Huntress 2. Depart West Bay 7pm. Max 18 meters. Hopefully on High Ground. This is filling so get your name down asap to save disappointment.
We are booking Huntress 2 again next month (August) midweek, date to be confirmed. Diving the wreck of the M2 Submarine plus one other dive.
We will be closed on Monday the 11th August 2008.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE. We can now offer this course on a pay as you dive basses. Using Huntress on a Friday evening to do most of the 5 dives required. If you are interested in this then please call for further details on Phone No-01308-422105. Or drop into the Dive Centre for a chat.

We were asked to incorporate a Forum page so you can discuss different issues, get advice from other divers and also look for other divers looking for a buddy, add photos etc. Check it out.
