We would ALL like to congratulate Howard Mundy on completing & passing (with very high scores) his Dive Master Course. Howard followed the internship course which meant actually working with real students, learning how to use the compressors, dealing with real live situations & assisting Instructors & Dive Masters in all aspects of training. Very well done & thank you.
We have use of the pool at Bridport Leisure Centre again this Sunday the 11th March, from 4pm to 5pm. If you would like to come along to check out gear & skills etc, or if you have anybody wishing to do a try dive, please contact the dive center for further details. 01308-422105.
We will be back using Beaminster pool as of the 25th March. So a good opportunity for you to check out your gear before venturing out into the sea.
Many of you have already had your kit serviced in preparation for the new dive season. If you have not then we highly recommend you do so soon. Our servicing agent has warned us that there could be a waiting time of 2 weeks at the moment. So get it in soon
The Thursday evening dives will resume on the 19th April, weather permitting.
We are looking at resurrecting an old summer tradition. One Thursday every month, June to September incl, chartering a hard boat for the day (Westbay, Portland/Weymouth, Swanage). If you would be interested please let us know, so we can start formulating dives & contacting charter skippers etc.
